02.11.2022 - Video: 'Robocop' for Amiga (AGA) - Update #11
Progress update #11 of an Amiga AGA implementation of the RoboCop arcade game. Changes from last version: - Fixes to the RoboCop sprite animations. I think I've got all glitches done now. - Additional movements added to the RoboCop sprite; he can now jump and attack, or crouch and attack. Simple things, but a PITA to implement efficiently. - Re-worked the palette to allow the goons to glow their arcade-native green colour when hit. I don't know if I want RoboCop to do the same. Decisions, decisions. - Playing with sprite reuse to allow 8 sprites for the HUD at the top of the screen, and 8 sprites for the parallax background city graphics. HUD graphics are still WIP and may change.

Superchase Remix is a maze game for the C64 where you try to collect as much treasure as possible, while the Monster of Dungeons tries to stop you! It's also hungry! The game is called Superchase Remix because it is remixed from three different versions of the same game that got published in Compute! magazines and books in the early '80s (the original Vic-20 version was published on October 1982, so exactly 40 years ago).

You're piloting an unidentified strong and well armed turboprop plane with swiss colours (but who looks like a modernized F6F Hellcat...) in an alternate history world. Minimum system requirements : Amiga PAL OCS/ECS with 1MB Chip Memory. You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

Microtopia is a prototype of a city-builder simulation game, written in Blitz Basic 2.1. It features randomly generated maps and three different species of inhabitant to provide for, Crows farm the land while industrious Beavers provide robust building materials, while the Moths fascinations with technology will help keep your advanced buildings running. You can download the game as free digital download (read the loading instructions on how to boot the .adf).

You will have to found settlements, build roads, establish trade relations with your fellow player, explore the map and sometimes send soldiers to war.The game is still in development and many important core elements of the game concept are still missing, but you can now download a demo version and test it.

30.10.2022 - Sabre Wulf Remastered Preview (v0.1) for C64 released
Sabre Wulf is an action-adventure game released by British video game developer Ultimate Play the Game for the ZX Spectrum home computer in 1984 and there was also a port for C64. This remastering project of it was started after graphic artist JonEgg redrew all the tiles for the C64 version of the game Sabre Wulf. This is now a very first preview and there's no game here yet .. but you can explore the map, pickup the amulet pieces and some other objects (not placed in all rooms as yet), and find your way to the end location - which has the gatekeeper.

'Castle Attack' is a little arcade game in the style of 'Orc Attack', created by Rainer Kappler (Masterware Entertainment), which you can download for free. After a long battle, your castle is about to be conquered. Defend your castle by throwing stones at the attacking knights, who want to use ladders to reach the battlements of it.

This land is infested by tentacle monsters, which spit a deadly poison ... In order to locate these deadly monsters, you must find them using your searchlight ... Once found, shoot them using the fire button. You can get the game for, but you can also support the developer with some money by naming your own price.

Axis/Cascade is no more. We are all still shaken by the unexpected death of our friend and group mate Patrick aka Axis/Cascade. We wanted to express our sorrow, so I coded a little intro, which you can find in the C64 demo section of this page. The following text is a rough excerpt taken from the scroller:
Dear Patrick, may this be the condolence from the the group that was co-founded by you long time ago. We want to give you our last salute. I (Zeldin) know how much you were breathing the spirit of the scene. That's why I thought a goodbye demo would have made you happy. You and me exchanged lots of mails about how much we both enjoyed the good ol' days and of course: how much we miss them... It was this tie that emotionally connected us for over 15 years. Thanks for all your help in supporting the group and your indefatigable endeavour in spreading our name. Your tattoos were legendary! Thanks for your work on fb and youtube. Your channels were appreciated by a lot of people. Thanks for being such a good chap. You'll be sorely missed!!!
