31.07.2025 - C64 game 'H.E.R.O. Is Back' released
'H.E.R.O. Is Back' is a homage to H.E.R.O. from John Van Ryzin, published by Activision in 1984. This version contains completely new levels. You can get the game as digital download for a bargain (name your own price) to support the developer.

31.07.2025 - 'Games That Weren't 64' (GTW64) - GTW64 July 2025 update
The seventh update of the year is a special one, as July featured one of our holy grail titles finally being found with the release of Nigel Mansell World Championship. There were also seven new entries added to the archives, including the full recovery of The Mystic Zone graphic adventure and the sad inclusion of the very promising Moonspire 2. Then to conclude, there are 12 existing entries updated, including confirmation that Runestone was the work of Sensible Software, and that Special Agent 2 sadly was merely vapourware.

29.07.2025 - 'Games That Weren't 64' (GTW64) - The Mystic Zone - Full C64 game recovered!
Thanks to the amazing recovery work of team member Csaba Virag, yet another full game has been recovered and released for download on GTW64 - this time a complete Hungarian graphic adventure game called The Mystic Zone. A translated English version might popup in the near future.

29.07.2025 - C64 game 'Robo Gems' - preview for download
'Robo Gems' is a fast-paced game for two players. Each player controls a robot. The goal is simple: collect as many gems as possible before time runs out. The player with the most points at the end wins. This game is currently in development, but you can already download and play the demo version. Don't forget to drop some coins (name your own price) to support the developer.

28.07.2025 - Amiga game 'Block Cannon' released - free for download
In Block Cannon you have to arrange at least three or more blocks of the same color in a row. These then disappear and score points. The goal is to hold out as long as possible and score as many points as possible before a column of blocks reaches the top of the screen, while the game gets faster and faster based on time.

27.07.2025 - Video: Wings of Fear V2 - finally with MUSIC
More footage of the overhauled version of 'Wings of Fear', a Shoot'em'up for Amiga which is recently in the making. Finally, with permission from Curt_cool to use his music in the game, Wings of Fear is a step closer to the release of the second playable demo. Until then you can get a playable demo version in its current state here.

Micro Karate Champ is a WIP C64 game where two players play against each other. If one hits four times, he wins the round. Press Run/STOP for the next round, and so on. There are seven rounds.

23.07.2025 - Plus/4 version of 'Dragon Wars' recovered
Dragon Wars is a fantasy role-playing video game published by Interplay Productions in 1989 for several systems including C64 and Amiga. This game was only rumoured to exist for Plus/4 until July 2025, when it was recovered from old disks. It's incomplete but playable.
