29.03.2023 - Tiki Project - New C64 game - Preview 2
This second preview of the re-imagining of the Tiki character from The New Zealand Story in a brand new C64 game being developed by Robert Wilson adds an additional enemy from Level 1-1 of the original arcade game to see how it looks and given it a new colour palette and overlay to enhance its look. Both the snail and crab look quite close to the originals. It's limited to just two frames of animation for both, to keep number of sprites in my sprite bank to a minimum. Both enemies are the same sprites just multiplexed. No collision detection so far yet in this preview.

21.03.2023 - 'Cracky' - game for Plus/4 and C16 (32k) released
Cracky is a new platformer game written by Japanese developer Inufuto. He writes his games using his own C compiler and assembler, and releases them on a multitude of 8-bit platforms (35+ and counting). Cracky is his 13th release. Your task is simple: clear each level by collecting all the stars, while avoiding the baddies. The title refers to the floors, some parts crack when you walk over them once, creating holes in the platforms. Since there's no jumping, on most levels you must use this to your advantage to reach otherwise unreachable stars.
