01.09.2021 - C64 game 'Soulless II - The Armour Of Gods' released

The MIST board was designed to implement classic 16 bit computers like the Amiga and Atari ST(E) as System-on-a-Chip using modern hardware. But it equally well supports 8 bit systems like the Atari XL, ZX81, ZX Spectrum, C64, Atari VCS, Atari 5200, Colecovision, Apple II, Sega Master System, NES, Odyssey2 and more.

01.09.2021 - C64 game 'Graviton' released
Psytronik Software is proud to present another exciting release from Karl Hörnell - author of C64 classics like Clean Up Service, Fungus, Velocipede and more recently, Iceblox Plus! In his latest game 'Graviton' you have to use your powers of dexterity to steer a ball through a maze. Careful reactions and precise control are necessary to successfully navigate the mazes. As a MEGA65 Dev Kit owner, Steven has created several posts to share what's coming when his favorite Commodore "what could have been" retro computer releases. He is not going in depth about the MEGA65 in this post and companion video; instead, check out his new MEGA65 page (www.stevencombs.com/mega65). 31.08.2021 - Amiga shooter/platformer game 'Hideous' re-released
Hideous is inspired by the game Zamzara for C64. The game is generally joystick controlled and you have several weapons at your disposal: Space for smart bomb, right shift for missile, left shift for mine web, pull down and hold for death scream. Hideous struggles with graphical glitches and appears to be most stable on v1.2 Amiga 500 systems. The game was originally released in July 1993 as licenceware by 5th Dimension Software. Now you can it get as digital download for a bargain (name your own price).

31.08.2021 - Commodore Magic Voice Software Prototype and Easter Eggs - new Video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'
We take a look at the Commodore Magic Voice Speech Module which promised a full library of compatible software for the Commodore 64, but in reality only a few titles shipped. We examine the three released titles that support Magic Voice: GORF, Wizard of Wor, and the rare A Bee C's, along with some little-known Easter Eggs in these games. This week on 10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast we are exploring the Commodore Amiga 600 in more detail, and trying to figure out what went wrong with this Amiga 500 replacement. Join Doug as he opens the old girl up and sees what makes her tick, and then upgrade her to at least 1990 levels of power! We will be installing the Furia A600 accelerator as well as the EX01 1 MB Chip RAM card with added Real Time Clock and Clockport headers. Will the A600 become my favorite Amiga? Will the Furia work with standard Compact Flash cards? Will Doug stay sober until the end of the show? Find out by watching this weeks episode!

29.08.2021 - Amiga port of 'Jackal' is on its way - first demo version available and ready for download and play
Jackal, also distributed under the title of Top Gunner, is an overhead run'n gun-style shoot-'em-up video game by Konami released for the arcades in 1986. The player must maneuver an armed jeep in order to rescue prisoners of war (POWs) trapped in enemy territory. Jackal was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) on September 1988 in North America. This project attempts to port the NES version with some graphical improvements on the Amiga (OCS-ECS) platform. First demo version available for you to download and play. It's a very WIP version so don't expect too much from it!
