11.02.2021 - Amiga game creator 'Redpill' V0.8.6 released
Redpill, the Amiga game creator, is a tool to empower people to create many games for Amiga without programming knowledge. It allows people to create 2D games with the true Amiga feeling. Supports both ECS and AGA Amigas, it is free and it is still in development. List of changes in 0.8.6: - Added HUD Refresh trigger to fully repaint he hud. Only use it when hanging labels. - Editor stack increased to allow the sprite editor to cut bigger sprites. - Now it is possible to copy and paste objects. It should work between projects too. - Added C64 menu color scheme. - Fix in games not using HUD. - Fixes in the copperlist. - Fix small glitch in the bottom of the menu.

Update on the Commodore 64 VIC-II replica project, by Randy Rossi. It's been nearly a year since he started working on this and he is getting closer to a finished product. The prototype board is working 100% now but is still too bulky to fit inside a closed machine. In this video, I talk about some issues that got resolved as well as some new features I've added.

09.02.2021 - Video shows Amiga WIP game 'Game Shot'
'Game Shot' was started as a little tribute game in 2018/2019 but was never fine-tuned and tweaked for release, because the developer ran into private issues and had other projects to finish. But once the time is right, as he states, he is going to revisit it and release it. Watch the video to get more info by the dev himself.

As announced recently, a new platformer game for Amiga is in the making called 'Minkey'. The developer is working on it since Covid19 Outbreak and quite a lot of the game is already finished. 'Kung Fu Flash' is a cartridge for the Commodore 64 by Kim Jorgensen that packs a punch. It can emulate different cartridge types, load PRG files and use D64 disk images. Just place your desired CRT, PRG or D64 files on a FAT formatted microSD card and use the built-in launcher to execute them. New in this update: - Add support for WarpSpeed. - Add support for Freeze Frame/Freeze Machine. - Fix bug reading UPD file using FAT16.

07.02.2021 - WIP Amiga game 'Pitfall 2: The Lost Caverns' as alpha version released
There is a first draft alpha of 'Pitfall 2: The Lost Caverns' for Amiga, that can be downloaded and tested. The game still needs a lot of polish, but it is a fully working and completable port of the C64 release. Unfortunately, this first release won't run smoothly on an A500 - but it should be OK on an A1200 (future updates should be a lot more optimal). Graphics are mostly from the Sega arcade version, though it's temporarily using the Quickclaw and Rhonda sprites from the NES 30th anniversary Super Pitfall hack as neither character appeared in the arcade machine. Music from modarchive.org. The developer wants to put it aside for a while and come back to it in future. Asides from optimization and polish, it'd be cool to add levels exclusive to the arcade machine and other editions later on, as he states.
