Cascade Amiga Packdisks
"Packdisks" are collections of different stuff, mostly intros and demos, sampled together on an Amiga disk and equipped with a simple loader menu. Because of their easy usage (no need to run CLI/Workbench) these packages have been quite famous on Amiga back then and likely spreaded and collected. The Packdisks here are released under the flag of Cascade, though some of them might contain a collection of stuff, that is not inevitably made by Cascade members.Approved Amiga emulator(s) for Windows:
Denise V2.8
WinUAE 6.0.3
This Packdisk contains solely Cascade demos/intros, which can be also downloaded separately here. The reason for making such a thing in 1998: Back then most Amiga emulators where not able to load Amiga binaries with simple drag'n'drop. At least I was asked by some old Cascade members, because they had problems in loading their old stuff with an emulator. So I linked this stuff within an .adf and equipped it with a simple keymap menu and upped them on the Cascade Homepage. However, these disks found their way to other Amiga scene resources as legal Cascade releases. Unnecessary to mention, web and e-mail address listed in this release is obsolete :-)

26.10.2026 - 'Islands' - game for C64 nad VIC-20 released - free for download'Islands' is a medieval fantasy roguelike for Game Boy, C64 and VIC-20. A small island, but a surprisingly deep adventure. The game began as a Game Boy project in 2022. When it was abandoned, it already had generators for dungeons and indoor locations, along with all the tile graphics. Modern programming techniques rescued the project in 2026, turning that unfinished foundation into a complete adventure across three classic machines. The sound effects for all three platforms were crafted by old, trembling hands. To complete the experience, a seasoned, partly deaf human composer created a six-minute, two-channel soundtrack for the C64 version. The entire game and its seemingly infinite universe - procedurally generated anew for every adventure - fit on an unbanked 32 KB Game Boy cartridge, with single-load versions for the C64 and VIC-20.
